1. Here and Now
2. Then vs. Now
From planning grocery trips to meal prepping strawberries before going to work to choosing to walk instead of ride to choosing movement over sedentary behavior, to choosing to give myself days off and rest, to saying no to the to do lists, to getting up early enough to start my day with movement, to overnight oats and sweet potatoes, to strawberries and roasted tomatoes, to grilled chicken and baked tilapia, to spinach and grapes and red wine vinegar, to going to bed on time, to turning off my phone, to taking time I need to be alone, to communicating and speaking up for my needs, for setting multiple distinct boundaries, to moving out, to moving in, to discovering what it means to begin, to crystals and chakras and oracle cards, to learning tarot and opening my heart, to incense and aromatherapy, to massages and facials and preventative care, to buying my own gorgeous long hair, to health insurance, to gym memberships, to noom, to meal logging, to scanning, to documenting, to writing, to journaling, to blogging, to pontificating, to poetry, to all I be, to learning I can't live without me, thank you, thank you, thank you. I am so grateful for all that I have done, all that I do, and all that I have. Thank you for bringing me this day. May I continue to shine like a ray.
3. Today I am grateful for
Me
Delicious sour strawberries
Physical touch
It doesn't take much
Learning not to rush
Breathing you in
Where to begin
Letting you in
Settling down
Surviving an endless upside down frown
Feeling your arms almost wrap around
Heart beating
Feet fleeing
Running towards you but also away
Eager for each break of day
Knowing something is coming my way
Hoping its you as I drive away
