The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly
Then I’d happily accept two
That may be selfish, but it’s true.
We haven’t met, but when we do:
I’ll be the honey in your tea,
the salt in your sea,
the winter in your ski,
the bumble in your bee.
And when your cold,
I’ll be your summer,
I’ll be the him,
I’ll be the her,
if your Theodosia,
I’m Aaron Burr,
If you’re the pumpkin,
Then I’m the pie
the sweetest parts of you,
the cinnamon baked inside,
the richness of you fully cooked,
The beginning and ending pages of a book,
A 3ft Christmas tree in a café nook,
And, if I’m lucky,
Then you’ll be
All the delicious parts that I see in me:
the good,
the bad
and the ugly.
